The Mess That Disappeared!

Our family room has been quite a mess this past little while. I always wanted a entertainment cabinet that would help to contain everything. Phil was finally able to find one at our local DI store for a steal of a deal. The hardest thing was to be able to find one that would fit our TV. We are still in the dark ages because we do not have a flat screen. We got rid of the table in there that just collected junk and it made for a lot more room. It is very comfortable to be in now and finally feels like a family room again.

A Step Up

Well, our printer that we have had for several years finally bit the dust (so to speak). Well there was a lot of dust under it when we finally had to move it. It quit working properly before Ben left and so out of the kindness of his heart (or because he would not be needing it for a year) we inherited his. When he first set it up, it seemed to run ruff, kind of shook the desk when it was printing. I asked him if this was normal and he said "it should be okay". The day after Ben left the printer quit on us. We think it was in mourning for Ben. None the less, I got the books out and tried everything to find out why it was not printing. No luck! I had Aaron look at it when him and Tricia came for a quick visit. No luck! Seth and Lauren & Ely were here this weekend and I told Seth he could not leave until he got the printer working. He said: "No problem!" But it ended up being a big problem because even he, the computer wiz could not get it to work. So on Saturday we made a trip to Fry's to look at all the choices. They have changed since we have looked. We were able to pick out a really nice one...it not only prints, but copies and faxes and prints photos...all within our price range. So once again we have a working printer, thank goodness. All is again well within the May household.
